Mining camera in KG-1, KG-1 versions and KG-1(z) with floodlight and connection box is a stationary device designed to monitor underground areas and mining excavations at risk of explosion. The camera is equipped with a fiber optic connection box with SC or E2000 connectors. A 2-port fiber optic switch allows for connecting cameras in series.
The camera transmits the image to the mining monitors and to the mine surface, where the camera view can be viewed live, saved and processed. Video image is compressed and available via TCP/IP protocol in 100BASE-FX fiber or cable 100BASE-TX. The maximum video stream resolution is 1920×1080 pixels.
A 2-port fiber optic switch allows for connecting cameras in series.
Mining camera KG-1(z) is a device of category M1 and 2G, so it can be used in all underground mines with possible methane or coal dust explosion hazard. The device can also work in hazardous areas outside mining (in industry)
All camera types are available in the following configurations:
- Digital camera, operating in HD resolution (max. 1920 x 1080 pixels)
- With fiber optic or cable (RJ45) interface
- Optional floodlight
